Q: How do I change the app text size, font, or theme?
Tap the Bookmarks tab at the bottom, then click the Settings (gear icon) at the top right. Here, you can adjust the text size slider, choose between the System font and our Noto Naskh custom font, toggle text justification, and switch between Light/Dark/System themes.
Q: Why does the app ask to download databases on launch?
To keep the initial app download size extremely small, we store translation database files externally. The app downloads these files (~9.7 MB) once on startup. This download supports pause/resume and installs the databases directly to your device local support folder.
Q: Can I read Hadiths offline?
Yes! Once the initial databases are successfully downloaded and extracted on startup, the application runs entirely offline. No active internet connection is required to read chapters, Hadiths, or commentaries.
Q: What is "Show Haraka" and when can I use it?
The "Show Haraka" switch toggles the visibility of Arabic diacritics/vowels. Disabling it displays Arabic text in plain format (without vowels) for easier speed-reading. This option becomes visible on the Settings page when Arabic is selected as either the primary or secondary language.
Q: How do I bookmark a Hadith?
While reading a Hadith inside the viewer, tap the Ribbon icon in the top-right corner of the Hadith card. Bookmarked Hadiths will turn highlight colored and can be instantly accessed from the Bookmarks tab on the homepage.
