1. How do I choose or switch between different Mushaf styles?
On the home screen or settings sheet, tap "Choose Mushaf" to view available scripts (Bangla, Hafezi, Madani, Tajweed, Naskh, Nurani). Tap any downloaded Mushaf to select it instantly as your active reading script.
2. Does the app require internet access to read the Quran?
No. Internet is only needed once when downloading a new Mushaf PDF for the first time. Once downloaded, all pages are stored locally on your device for fast offline reading.
3. How do I jump directly to a specific Ayah?
When reading non-Bangla Mushafs, open the Surah list drawer in the top navigation bar. Each Surah item displays a compact Ayah input box where you can type an Ayah number and jump straight to that verse.
4. How do I add or delete custom bookmarks?
While reading any page, tap the bookmark icon on the top control bar to add the page with a custom title. To delete a bookmark, tap the bookmark icon again or swipe left on the bookmark item in the Home tab.
5. How do I delete downloaded Mushaf files to free up storage?
Open the Mushaf Selector sheet. Any downloaded Mushaf that is not currently active will feature a red trash icon. Tapping it will prompt a confirmation dialog to safely remove the PDF file from your device storage.
6. What devices are supported?
Bangla Quran is available for iOS (iPhone & iPad running iOS 16.0 or higher) and Android devices.
