Islamic Center is designed to be functional offline and respects your privacy by default. Here is how specific features utilize system permissions:

Location Data (Optional):
• Purpose: If you grant location permission, your device's geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) are accessed strictly to calculate accurate local Islamic prayer times (Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) and the precise Qibla compass direction towards the Kaaba in Mecca.
• Privacy Guarantee: Your location is processed entirely on your device using astronomical calculation algorithms. It is never uploaded, shared, transmitted to our servers, or tracked in the background. You may also manually select your city without granting location permissions.
Audio & Media Playback:
• Purpose: The app utilizes background audio capabilities (`UIBackgroundModes: audio`) to allow continuous Quran recitation playback when you navigate between screens, lock your device, or minimize the app. It integrates with iOS Control Center and Lock Screen playback notifications so you can manage recitation.
• Privacy Guarantee: The audio player only accesses public recitation audio files and does not record, capture, or access your device microphone.
Local Storage (Files & Documents):
• Purpose: When you download Quran translation databases, word-by-word meaning packs, or offline audio recitations, they are saved locally in your app's sandboxed storage directory.
• User Content: Your personal bookmarks, reading progress, and Ayah notes remain completely local to your device and are never synchronized with external third-party trackers.

2. Third-Party Services & Analytics

Islamic Center contains no third-party advertising SDKs, commercial trackers, or marketing trackers. We do not integrate data brokers, behavioral advertising, or fingerprinting technologies.

Standard anonymous diagnostic crash data may be collected by Apple Inc. if you have opted in via your iOS device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements). This data is aggregated and anonymized by Apple to help developers fix application crashes.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Standards)

Islamic Center is an educational and religious utility suitable for users of all ages, including children. We do not solicit, gather, or store any personal data from anyone, including children under 13 years of age.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Because we do not collect personal information or maintain user accounts on our servers, there is no personal data stored remotely to delete. If you uninstall the application from your device, all locally stored settings, bookmarks, notes, and downloaded audio files are automatically purged by iOS.
